Armour sleeves for a Gortash Cosplay, based on the Cloth of Authority armour set. Cast gold pigment and made from silicone so that they're flexible. Check out the listing video to see how they bend!

One order comes with two sleeves. When you first receive your kit, you might find that it's "shedding" gold pigment. This is normal! Wipe the pieces down with rubbing alcohol to remove any excess.

Since they're silicone, they stretch quite a bit! If you want an easier time getting them off and off, dry both the sleeve and your arm off thoroughly and then coat the inside of the sleeve and your arm in baby powder. It'll help the silicone slide over your skin easier.

Silicone sleeves do get sweaty to wear over time as they don't breathe at all; remember to take them off to take breaks to prevent overheating, and afterwards, you can wash them out with a gentle soap and water and then dry them off.

The sleeves come in one size and are roughly made to the following measurements:

  • Wrist circumference: 6 3/4"
  • Elbow circumference: 11"
  • Bicep circumference three inch above elbow: 12.5"
  • Elbow to wrist: 9.5"

If you are smaller than these measurements, you can easily cut pieces of the arm away and reglue your own seam with silicone glue. For a brief tutorial on gluing silicone and a list of materials you should have on hand, please see our Link Zonai Arm Tutorial.

If you'd like to paint or weather these, the only paint that sticks to silicone is more pigmented silicone, or a specialty silicone paint like Psycho Paint. It's a platinum silicone, so it is only compatible with other platinum silicones. You CAN put other paints on it, but they will peel off over time and with any stretch or friction, so if you add shadows with something like thinned out acrylics, you may need to periodically retouch it.

All kits are made to order and may take 2-3 weeks to produce. Fully finished products may take at least 4 weeks.
