Kit & File Commissions

Thank you for considering us to handle your commission! Dangerous Ladies can create custom 3D print files, physical kits, fabrics and vector patterns upon request.

If you have questions about the process that you don't see answered here, please send us an email or fill out the form below as best you can –– we'll help you with the rest!

Please note that with few exceptions, commissioned resources are listed on our store for the public. Public sales help us subsidize what we charge for commissions, but more importantly, enable your commission and our work to go on to help others bring their dreams to life, too. If you're interested in private commissions, please let us know.

Note about Commissions

June 11th, 2026: We are going to be taking a break from most commissions while we focus on catching up on our backlog, designing new resin and 3D printed kits for the upcoming Fire Emblem game, and preparing for our annual Blood Pool!

As a result, we are currently only taking 3D model/printed kit commissions for the following series:

  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,
  • Critical Role,
  • Dungeon Meshi,
  • Final Fantasy (1 through 13) and Kingdom Hearts,
  • Fire Emblem,
  • Persona,
  • Resident Evil,
  • Twisted Wonderland,
  • Uma Musume,
  • Witch Hat Atelier,
  • Zelda
  • Metal jewelry and temporary tattoos from any series on a case-by-case basis.

We have some upcoming releases planned for most of these series already, so don't be afraid to ask if it's already in the works.

In addition we will also consider:

  • Harnesses and rigging for costume pieces,
  • Wig-styling structures and tools,
  • Generic armour bases,
  • Printed fabric and vector work for series not on the above list

Finished Props and Full Costume Commissions

Finished props and full costume commissions are taken on a case-by-case basis and are separate from our regular commission schedule. Please note that finished props usually require at least 4 weeks working time. Full costumes require at least 4 months, sometimes more depending on schedule and complexity. These estimates do not include shipping time.

How to Start the Commission Process

How We Select Projects

Selection on our end is based on a number of factors:

  1. How many people request the same project, so we can split cost between them and serve a larger number of people.
  2. How much available time we have that month.
  3. Personal preference; regardless of what series it’s from or how complicated it is, sometimes some projects have a particular challenge or novelty to them that makes them extra motivating for our artists to work on!

We completely welcome niche, unusual, rare, vintage and “never seen one of those before!” projects. Sometimes the best way to strengthen a particular fandom’s cosplay scene is to make it easier to cosplay from.

Once Your Commission is Paid

Once your commission is paid for, we’ll begin work. In the case of payment plans, we start work when the deposit is paid; (deadlines for installments will vary by project).

Larger projects such as fitted pieces (armour, etc.) may receive intermittent updates, but please keep in mind that we have a large number of custom commissions every month. When we have updates or changes to your commission, we will reach out to you! Otherwise, we'll just be working quietly. You will more often than not receive finished files or renders and be prompted for revisions afterward.

Your commission quote includes two (2) revisions. Anything beyond the second revision will incur fees and an extension of your delivery time.

If your commission requires additional reference, measurements, or information from you, please provide it promptly. We are not responsible for missed deadlines due to failure to provide measurements, notes, or any kind of replies within an appropriate amount of time.
