Description

A 3D Printed Kit for Sciel's Scielson Scythe. Ships unassembled and unfinished. Perfect for a Sciel Cosplay.

Finishes at 72" end to end. Dowels and hardware are not included.

This one includes built in screw hardware so it breaks down into three pieces; if you don't want it to screw apart, you can just glue those parts together like any other joint. The reason I did it this way is because I felt like the twisting and turning angles of the handle would make it very hard for people to design in their own breaks for travel, so this should streamline the process.

Assembles on a variety of hardware, which can be wooden dowels or aluminum rods for less weight and added strength (and added price lol).

Upper Blade

  • 2x 1/4” dowel, cut 17.25” long
  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 10.5” long
  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 3.25” long
  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 5.75” long

Handle

  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 10” long
  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 11.5” long
  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 6.25” long

Lower Blade

  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 6.5” long
  • 1x 1/2” dowel, cut 17” long
  • 2x 1/4” dowel, cut 11” long

Sciel's scythe is quite detailed paint-wise, but texturally has nothing to offer other than scratches on the head –– a thing that is done manually far better than 3D modelling them in, once you consider body shopping!

Kits are unfinished and require sanding, painting, and assembly. Everything is made to order so please expect a 2-3 week production time!

Feel free to tag us to show us what you print and make! We love to see finished works.
