Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for dowels.
Model by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)
.stl format. For when you need one in a pinch. These "dowels" are sized through all the 8ths and 16ths, and some larger.
You can change the length by scaling vertically. Remember to turn off universal scaling so the diameter stays the same –– you only want to change the length!
These are obviously not as strong as real wood or steel dowels, but you can make these stronger by printing with thick walls, and, if necessary, printing them on their sides. Sink them into the bed a tiny bit so there's a nice flat spot to print on. Printing on the side might make them less dimensionally accurate, but it will make them much stronger.

- .STL files
