Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for Basic Oversized Beads
Models by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)
.stl format. Will fit on any FDM printer bed.
Sometimes it can be a pain in the butt to find plain round beads in large sizes. Foam balls work, but they tend to be easily damaged and hard to paint, and you have to poke your own holes. Ball pit balls are smooth and durable, but because they're hollow it's hard to thread a cord all the way through them, and they come in limited sizes. Wooden beads come in a lot of sizes, but get expensive and heavy.
Enter: the 3D printed bead, noble but mighty.
These beads come in a range of sizes (0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5 and 3") and come in both solid and hollow variants, as well as with 3mm, 5mm or 7mm holes.
The holes also have a tiny flat ring around them so you can print them upright with slightly less support. You'll still want some, though!
Files include:
- Photos
- .STL files
