White Mage's Bunny's Crescent Staff [3D Printed Kit] 3D Printed Kit cosplay DangerousLadies

We can print this for you!

Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for Nyx's Shoulder Pauldrons
Models by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)

.stl format.

Needs a printer with a minimum height of 250mm. You can print the pauldrons in one piece at this size too, but I've also included a halved version to avoid having to print with massive amounts of support. Pauldrons finish about 25cm from tip to tip, and the wings are about 45cm long.

There are two versions of the pauldron, a "harnessed" version and a "hollow" version.

The harnessed version is more or less solid with a hollowed out area to cup the shoulder. A matching shoulder harness bracket has a square post that extends up into the bottom of the pauldron; this way you can wear the harness under your dress, put a slit in the shoulder for the post to extrude through, and then simply pop the pauldron on. This way you can take the pauldrons on and off with ease to move/travel/rest without needing to take anything else off. The top of the post has a slot for a 3/4" magnet (and a matching slot inside the pauldron) if you want extra security. The base shoulder space on this one for a shoulder about 14 cm deep; this will fit a lot of people but I do suggest doing a "junk" print with really flimsy/fast print settings first to see what kind of sizing you like/what fits you best. I also suggest printing the harness piece with thick walls, ideally 2mm or so.

The hollow version is pretty much what it says on the tin and doesn't have a bracket/mounting system. This one is better for really custom fits, as you can fill the inside with foam blocks to get the right positioning on your costume. This is also ideal if you want to design your own harness system.

The wing is universal to both pauldrons and slots into the moon. There are three 1/4" magnet slots in each so you can pop it in and out securely for travel/moving around a con. The wings are about 10mm thick at their thickest spot so they should be very light and also easily replaced if broken. I suggest printing them with a 2mm wall as well.

We printed ours at 0.1 mm layers. We suggest keeping a moderate infill (no lower than 10%) and walls of about 1-1.2mm.
