Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for the Leafmen's Shield, Sword and Helmet
Model by Cole Nielsen (@_craftcentric)
.stl format. Cut for a 256mm print bed. Shield finishes at 49in tall, and with the sword sheathed into it, it bumps up to 56.5" total.
Assembles on the following hardware:
Sword - 1 x 1/4" dowel cut to 41.25" long
- 1 x 1/2" dowel cut to 47.75" (just barely under 48")
Shield - 16 x 1/4" furniture dowels at 30mm length
- 11 x 3/8" dowel cut to 4" (or less)
- 1 x 1/4" dowel cut to 33.5" for the sword sheath
Helmet - 12x 1/8" dowel cut to 14mm its just for alignment and making glue up easier
Wooden dowels are best for glue adhesion and weight.
Assembly tips:
- The shield sections are not labeled but the clips that join the rows together are. (eg. clip 1ba, joins column a to column b and rows 1 and 2)
- Sword pieces have a face labeled, and are ordered alphabetically from the tip downwards (A through E) to the handle.
- The helmet sections are split on flat surfaces as well, and once glued together fit can be adjusted with some caution. Use a heat gun from a distance to gradually warm up the areas around the cheeks and then gently ease outwards or inwards. Hold in position until cooled, or dunk under cold running water to harden again. Go slow! Too much speed and it'll bend rather than curve.
Files include:
- Renders
- .STL files
Please do not redistribute or resell. Intended for personal use only. Commercial use must buy a new copy for each item produced.
Feel free to tag us to show us what you print and make! We love to see finished works.
