Description
A 3D printed cosplay kit for the Hermes's Caduceus Staff (FFXIV). Hilarious that this is the third Caduceus staff I've modelled and they're all for different characters!!
Photos are of a finished kit. Ordering a printed kit would ship unassembled, unpainted, and unfinished.
Big, but not like, 20 ft tall. Finishes at 79" long, with a 27" wingspan. You can adjust the height of the staff by cutting the PVC handle shorter; it will change the proportions a little bit but it will keep the top nice and dramatic!
This staff assembles on a 1" PVC pipe, schedule 40. It's important that it's schedule 40 because this file includes internal screws to let it screw apart for travel. (If you don't want to screw yours apart, they are skippable.) This pipe gets cut 50" long.
The snakes on the sides attach on four (4) 1/4" dowels, cut 2.25" each. There is an included jig file for lining these holes up on the sides; the dowels go right through the PVC pipe.
There are also 1/4" support rods in the top and bottom. The top is 8.25" and the bottom is 20.5". I suggest using aluminum for these for strength but you can use wood if you prefer.
Ships unassembled and unfinished. Glue, paints and tools not included. Please allow 2-3 weeks for production, as all items are made to order. Fully finished products may take a minimum of 4 weeks depending on how busy we are.
Feel free to tag us to show us what you print and make! We love to see finished works.
