Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for Maelle's Maelleum rapier.
Model by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)
.stl format. Cut for printers 250mm tall, but I've included whole versions for people who'd like to cut their own. Includes two sizes, one 42" and one 50" long.
42" version: Assembles on a 1/4" rod, cut 38" long.
50" version: Assembles on a 3/8" rod, cut 48.5" long.
This files includes a few different variants, including:
- A cross guard with the "hoops" printing separately or merged into the crossguard. I suggest separate because it makes sanding and finishing and painting easier, but either one works!
- A handle that has a 1mm tolerance added if you'd like to wrap it with leather instead of painting it.
- If the 50" version is too long for you but you prefer the larger handle, you can omit one blade piece and cut the internal rod shorter by 8.5" to shorten it down to about 42" again.
At this time we don't have good reference of the symbols etched into the side, so at present they have been omitted. If we get better reference in the future, we will update the files to include them. :)
Files include:
- Photos
- .STL files
Please do not redistribute or resell. Intended for personal use only. Commercial use must buy a new copy for each item produced.
Feel free to tag us to show us what you print and make! We love to see finished works.
