.stl format. Pre-sliced for printing on a 20cmx20cmx20cm bed. Makes a 60" staff. Everything is sliced for minimal necessary supports with as few seams as possible.

The head is designed to come off. You can install a 1/4" dowel or steel peg inside the neck of the collar for it to slot onto; otherwise it will fall! If you do not put this peg in, you may be able to substitute magnets, or simply glue it in place.

Rod is designed to thread onto a 1" dowel. The dowel should be cut 45.5" long.

There are some OPTIONAL prints in this file, including
- 7 different TUBE segments; these can be cut from lengths of 1" PVC pipe (schedule 40) to save printing hours and sanding hours, and then capped with the regular CAP files. It needs to be schedule 40; if you use schedule 80, the dowel will not fit inside the pipe.
- One 100m orb on a stand; you can purchase a 100mm holiday ornament to use instead of printing it.
- A test file for the base of the head to test the fit on your 100m orb. Sometimes they are not made 100% to spec because of different manufacturing standards, so you can do a test print of just that segment of the base to check.

The tube lengths are as follows, rounded out for simplicity in cutting:
45 mm = 1.75"
150 mm = 6"
115 mm = 4.5"
105 mm = 4"
175 mm = 6.75"
150 mm = 6"
30 mm = 1.25"

If you want to bump the height of the staff up to 70" or so, just add inches as desired to the PVC segments.

It also includes jig files for the key teeth. The key teeth attach using 1/4" dowel pegs (not included); you can use the jig to drill holes in the correct spots for the keys to slot into. You don't have to use the jig, but it does help for placement of the key pieces and makes them a little more durably attached to the PVC segments (or the printed segments)

We printed ours at 0.1 and 0.15mm layers. We suggest keeping a moderate infill (no lower than 15%) and walls of about 1-1.2mm.
