Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for G'raha Tia's Scion staff.
Model by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)
.stl format. Cut for printing on a 250mm tall printer, but there are whole versions for larger printers. Finishes at 70" proportionally, but you can make it longer or shorter by simply extending the dowel/handle.
The crystal is hollow, so you can print it with a transparent filament and then install lights inside. You can access any electronics by not adhering the crystal permanently to the head and then removing it from its slot.
All variants of the staff other than the collapsible version assemble on a 1.25" diameter dowel, cut 46" long. You can also switch the dowel out for a 1" ID PVC pipe by printing the file at 107% scale, but then your printer may need to be slightly taller!
This file includes versions where the crystal is separate from the head, and versions where the gems aren't attached to the body so you can print/cast them separately. The standard version is my personal favourite cut but needs a 300mm tall printer to print if you want the seamless crystal; you can always use the Separate version's split crystal for shorter printers, though, you'll just have a seam.
NEW June 27th 2025: I've added a collapsible version. This version is made to screw apart. There is a slot down the middle for a 3/8" or 8mm dowel for strength, but you may also choose to leave it open to run electronics down to the bottom to make the gem light up. It collapses into four parts, so it can fit in a small suitcase; the longest part of the four is 24".
NEW April 6th 2026: While this file will continue to get updates periodically, older versions are no longer being supported; the files are too old and I've made too many changes to them to make further alterations without breaking things :) While I've still kept them in the files for enterprising folks, I am only offering modifications or assistance with the current version. I've also added a 1:3 scale version for dollfies.
