Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for hand drill jigs.
Model by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)
.stl format. Should fit on any printer. Print with REALLY thick walls if you want them to last!
A great way to make props collapsible is to install hangar bolts or double-ended screws into each end of a dowel, but a lot of us don't have the tools (or hand-eye coordination!) to drill a straight hole into the end of a dowel, leading to crooked joints.
This file solves that. These printable caps slot onto the end of a dowel and create a channel you can put your drill bit straight into. The channel makes sure your drill bit aim is straight and perfectly centred!
I've included jigs for three sizes of dowel (3/4", 1" and 1-1/4") and two sizes of drill bit, 3/16th in and 1/4in.
(Because the jig is plastic, it might wear over time/use and not drill so straight. When that happens, just print it again!)
Files include:

- .STL files
Please do not redistribute or resell. Intended for personal use only. Commercial use must buy a new copy for each item produced.
Feel free to tag us to show us what you print and make! We love to see finished works.
