A 3D Printed Kit for Gavis Bettel's Whip Sword. Finishes at about 63" long. Prints unassembled and unfinished.

Assembles on a 1/4" diameter dowel 12.75" long. Dowels are not included in the kit.

We print this in TPU so that the blade can be flexible/wiggly/bendable, and coil up into a whip. Check out the video above to see Gabi demonstrate how the blade can be manipulated!

Due to the nature of TPU, you may find some of the coils have jagged edges left over from printing supports. This is common-- you can experiment with flexibond or flexible spackling to fill and smooth out these jagged edges. If you layer it on thinly, you can sand down excess material. Sanding TPU outright isn't very effective.

The blade prints in six parts. If you'd like us to assemble the blade for you, please make sure you select "assembled blade" option when checking out.

Do not store this coiled up tightly for long term storage, as the material will want to be straight naturally, but it does curl into a whip quite easily. If you coil it loosely, for travel or wear, you shouldn't see any issues!

Glue, paints and tools not included. Please allow 2-3 weeks for production, as everything is made to order!

Stunning work!!

I love my bettel whip!! It's come out so so nice, and I'm absolutely amazed by the quality! The fact that the whip blade is bendy is so so wonderful, and it was a great experience for me to get to put the pieces together and prepare it. I'm also astounded by how sturdy it is, and how amazing it is that nothing broke on the travel to the UK!! Fantastic service, very fast delivery, and stunning attention to detail!
