Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for Paya's hat.

.stl format. It's big, but can print on a printer at least 200x200x250, with many pieces fitting shorter. The whole hat finishes at 27.5" across.

The hat is designed so that the main conical part (in 10 parts) can be covered with other materials for the "straw hat" look, and the mid section can be draped in fabric. The bottom frame attaches to the main hat with magnets (approx. 60) but you can use fewer if you'd like or just glue it in permanently.

The top part comes off on magnets as well, so you can dismantle this pretty well for travel/storage.

There are also two versions of the main hat; one has a lip built in that the "basket" structure on Paya's head slots into, the other they're entirely separate. The lip makes assembly and stability way easier, but is slightly less accurate, whereas the separate versions have more versatility if you have other plans.

3/8" Dowels are used to hold the hat up on the "head ring." Refer to the diagram for sizing! The chain link halves can be supported with toothpicks or thin dowel pegs.

Please note that there is a tricky balance between "strong" and "lightweight"; a full hat printed with 1.2mm walls and a 10% infill winds up around 1.5kg.
