White Mage's Bunny's Crescent Staff [3D Printed Kit] 3D Printed Kit cosplay DangerousLadies

We can print this for you!

Dangerous Ladies' 3D models for the Viper dual swords.
Model by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)

.stl format. Each sword finishes at 38" and connects to make a 76" glaive. Pre-sliced for printing on a 300mm or 200mm tall bed but most pieces will fit much smaller. I've included whole versions of the blade and crossguard for those who prefer to slice it themselves, too, as well as four different pommel versions to connect the swords together.

You’ll find that the handles are slightly smaller than their connecting pieces- this allows some room to wrap with leather.

The swords assemble on a 1/4" diameter dowel or threaded rod, 35.5" long. I suggest using aluminum for strength, but wood is fine too. Threaded is even better because it works with the optional connector pommels.

The pommels include versions for use with hex nuts to make the couplings.

The ones made to be connected are "Just Long Nut”, “Quarter Inch Long Nut” and “Short Nut”; which you go with depends on what kind of look you’re going for.

Just Long Nut and Quarter Inch Long Nut both have a slot for a 1/4" threaded hex coupling. Ones like these:

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/paulin-1-4-inch-20-hex-coupling-nut-fully-threaded-zinc-plated-unc/1000131261

Just Long Nut has flush ends so it doesn’t look as accurate at a glance, but it has more stability because the nut goes right to the end of the pommel. Quarter Inch Long Nut is more screen accurate, but it means the nut is sunk deeper into the pommel.

Short Nut is similar to the above, but it takes a much more standard 1/4” hex nut. A little easier to find at any common hardware store!

The key to these is that you use a chunk of 1/4” threaded rod to screw into both sides, which acts as a joint between the two.

Overall the hardware for this should cost less than $10.

What is available to you locally may vary so I would just print the pommel, take it with you to the hardware store, and pop in fasteners until you find one that fits the slot + your threaded rod.
