Dangerous Ladies' 3D model for Dimitri's Areadbhar
Model by Jennifer Rezny (@quicksparrows)
.stl format. Pre-sliced for printing on both a 20cm and 30cm tall bed.
Areadbhar requires the following hardware for alignment, assembly and handle:
2x 1/4 dowels, 21.5" long -- for head assembly
1x 1/8" dowel, 3.25" long -- for prong with ring (ideally steel or aluminum rod for strength)
1x 1/2" square dowel, 7.5" long -- for lower segment of head; it will fit a round dowel but a square one prevents rotation and makes for easy alignment of prong with ring relative to the rest.
Areadbhar is proportioned for a 55" dowel handle, 1 1/4 (1.25") diameter. You can print everything at 106% scale if you want to use a 1" PVC pipe, but then the dowels in the head will have to be very slightly larger too.
We recommend assembling the entire head before threading it onto the pole.
Files include:
- Reference images
- .stl files
0.1 and 0.15mm layers. We suggest keeping a moderate infill (no lower than 15%) and walls of about 1-1.2mm.
Please do not redistribute or resell. Intended for personal use only. Commercial use must buy a new copy for each item produced.
Feel free to tag us to show us what you print and make! We love to see finished works.
